• ... learned it's about 5 miles round-trip from our apartment to the San Francisco Creamery downtown. We learned this because we walked it the other night and were rewarded with THE best ice cream I've ever had. Sorry Aggie Blue Mint, you've been replaced. :) 
• ... Yelped hair salons in the area and both got chopped. The gal who cut my hair is named Ofelia and she's from Romania. She was awesome at cutting hair and having an accent.

• ... visited the park, the pool, the gym, and walked around.

• ... saw Moonrise Kingdom and liked it.
