Here's the deal. I was sick during Christmas and New Years, so my enthusiasm for both was really lacking. But the end of a year deserves at least some sort of recognition, so here it is.
2011 was the year we...
- drove 1680 miles for a concert.
- spent many a night playing card games and eating too many sour cream and onion potato chips.
- drove off the lot in a brand new car. (a first for both of us).
- gulped down entire seasons of tv shows on netflix while lounging on the couch, a concentrated mass of cuddling and blankets and dog.
- faced those horrible monsters, the GMAT and CPA exams.
- decided who we were and what we wanted.
And now onward! 2012 is going to be a crazy year for us, but hopefully it will be good-crazy. Either way, there's bound to be heaps of planning and plotting, adventure and newness. And really, if you're going to live, why not go all out, take risks, and make it count?
