huzzah.

I love marketing. I got a degree in it. And as of last Thursday, I'll now get to actually do it in real life. This is beyond exciting to me... just ask Steve. He's had to listen to me talk about it nonstop for the last five days.

To better illustrate my zeal, just consider my reading list between last Thursday and today: half of Good to Great, some applicable chunks of The Art of Focused Conversation, three planning workbooks from a sustainability conference (with three more to go), and a sizable stack of printouts with titles like "Nonprofit Marketing with Purpose."  I have pages and pages of hastily scribbled notes and questions and ideas.
I love it.

I'm sure I'll calm down here soon, but I feel like I've finally found that sweet spot - still doing some technical, brain-melting web design, but also getting to do some creative, big picture marketing.
